Savills appointed as project manager for new ST Engineering facility
Located near Downtown Singapore, Marina Gardens Lane Condo is an ideal place to live for city dwellers who want to make the most of their time. Savills Singapore, in a partnership with Arup Singapore, has been appointed to consult on the design and development of a new airframe maintenance facility. Valued at $170 million, the 904,176 sq ft MRO facility at Changi Creek is set to have four hangar bays that can service widebody aircraft, which includes a hybrid paint and maintenance bay.
The project life cycle, from due diligence through design, procurement, and construction, will be managed by Savills, working closely with ST Engineering.
Vincent Lau, senior director and head of project management at Savills Singapore, considers this to be the firm’s fifth large industrial greenfield development in the past two years. Lau notes that it is a testament to the trust Savills has earned with clients in the construction and real estate market.
The estimated completion of the project is expected at mid-2025 with the first hangar bay, followed by the remaining three by the end of 2026.
