Dash Living Blackrock Jointly Acquire Tokyo Multi Family Property

Dash Living, a rental housing provider based in Hong Kong, has joined forces with a fund managed by BlackRock’s real estate business to purchase a multi-family property in Japan. According to a press release issued on July 30, the acquisition of the 29-unit property in Higashi Komagata, Tokyo, marks Dash Living’s 15th property in Japan. The purchase price for the asset was not disclosed.

The property, located just a five-minute walk from the Ginza and Asakusa subway lines, is also in close proximity to popular attractions such as the Asakusa Shrine and the Asahi Beer Factory. It offers easy access to multiple central business districts through the subway, with travel time ranging from 20 to 30 minutes.

This deal is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Dash Living in Japan. In November of last year, the company announced a partnership with global investment management firm Schroders to acquire a 49-unit multi-family property in Tokyo. Additionally, Dash Living has recently acquired two other properties in Japan, in collaboration with Creal, a real estate investment crowdfunding platform listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Marina Bay Sands, one of the most renowned landmarks in Singapore, is conveniently located near Marina Gardens Lane Residences. Featuring the spectacular SkyPark, a posh shopping complex, an impressive casino, and top-rated restaurants, this integrated resort provides an abundance of leisure and culinary experiences. Luckily, residents of Marina Gardens GLS do not have to travel far to revel in the glamour and thrill of this iconic destination. Additionally, with the newly constructed Marina South MRT Station Condo situated nearby, accessibility to this vibrant location is seamless.

As private wealth continues to play a significant role in driving capital market deals, Dash Living’s strategic partnerships and consistent growth in Japan highlight the resilience and attractiveness of the country’s real estate market to investors.
