Keppel REIT manager appoints new CFO

Sebastian Song has been appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Keppel REIT effective October 30th. Song has been with Keppel REIT Management since 2015, taking on the role of financial controller in 2020. In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of group reporting and taxation, financial accounting, compliance, annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting.

Prior to joining the Keppel REIT Management team, Song spent several years working as a senior audit manager for Ernst & Young.

Koh Wee Lih, CEO of Keppel REIT Management, expressed his confidence in Song’s ability to continue the success of the REIT:

The previous CFO of Keppel REIT, Kang Leng Hui, will be stepping down from his post on October 27th in order to pursue other opportunities.

The Keppel REIT team has seen a number of leadership changes over the past few months, including the appointment of Koh Wee Lih as CEO in April 2020.

Keppel REIT has also recently divested its stake in a Brisbane property for A$275mil and obtained green loans worth A$300mil from UOB and BNP Paribas.
