Portfolio of HDB shophouses for sale at $21.1 mil
A portfolio of four two-storey HDB shophouses with a guide price of “around $21.1 million” is up for sale via expression of interest (EOI), as announced by marketing agent Knight Frank. These four shophouses are located in different parts of Singapore in Hougang Street 21, Bedok North Street 1, Marine Parade Central and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6.
The Hougang Street 21 shophouse has an impressive strata area of 2,325 sq ft and about 54 years remaining on its lease. It is also situated in a great location with a 5-minute walking distance to Kovan MRT Station. The Bedok North Street 1 shophouse, on the other hand, is spread across 1,604 sq ft with approximately 59 years of lease remaining.

Esther Sim, senior manager for capital markets (land and building, international real estate) at Knight Frank, said that the shophouses are currently tenanted and come with the respective tenancies. She noted that these HDB shophouses will appeal to local investors looking for a ready income.
The EOI exercise for the shophouse portfolio will be closing on Oct 23 at 3pm. Interested buyers should act quickly to secure the chance of acquiring these HDB shophouses.
