Wee Ee Lim, chairman of UOL, and his brother, director Wee Ee Chao, have recently increased their ownership of the company by purchasing shares from the open market through their investment firm, Wee Investments. As the brothers are considered interested parties in UOL, their actions have raised interest among investors.

CEO and director of Kheng Leong Company, the Wee family’s privately held real estate development and investment firm, Wee Ee Chao has also joined his brother in purchasing UOL shares. The late billionaire banker, Wee Cho Yaw, who passed away in February, was the father of both brothers.
