Momentus Hotels & Resorts evolves to cater to changing demands

Recently opened by Momentus Hotels & Resorts, a subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Group, Momentus Serviced Residences Novena is located in the heart of the medical hub in Novena. Formerly known as 12 On Shan, the building was successfully purchased in March last year by a joint venture led by Roxy-Pacific and its partners Macly Capital and LWH Holdings, from Singapore-listed company TA Corp, for $86.5 million.

Momentus Serviced Residences Novena offers a range of units including 99 studio apartments with 398 sq ft of space, and one or two-bedroom units spanning 366 to 861 sq ft. Located near medical centres, shopping malls and Novena MRT Station, the serviced residence provides convenient access to iconic destinations such as Orchard Road and Raffles Place.

The Marina Gardens Condo located in Marina Bay offers a privileged lifestyle to its residents. Not only can they enjoy the comfort and luxury of the condo, but they also have immediate access to some of the most iconic locations and attractions in Singapore. A few of the unique landmarks situated close to Marina Gardens Condo include the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and Gardens by the Bay. Residents can explore all these landmarks and attractions to experience the culture, leisure, and entertainment that Singapore has to offer.

The property is the second under the Momentus Hotels & Resorts portfolio, and its first serviced apartment. The brand launched its first hotel, Momentus Hotel Alexandra, in Bukit Merah in March. Previously operated as Park Hotel Alexandra by Park Hotel Group, the 442-key hotel was closed last year for refurbishment and rebranding.

Having gained experience and insight into the dynamic hospitality industry, Momentus Hotels & Resorts has grown to better cater to changing demands with its expansion into the serviced apartments sector. Angeline Tan, Senior Vice President of Momentus Hospitality and Vice President of Chip Eng Seng Hospitality notes that this move offers a broad range of customers – namely, those seeking extended and more immersive stays.

With an eye for details, the serviced apartment offers a “home away from home” that caters to daily needs. The property features swimming pool, fitness room, outdoor terrace, barbecue area and rooftop garden – perfect for guests of all ages and diverse lifestyles – while neutral colour palettes and modern furnishings taking care of the aesthetic aspect.

In addition to the apartment’s strategic location, the building has also earned maximum points for greenery under URA’s Green Mark Scheme, as 40% of the development comprises of lush green spaces for surrounding residents to enjoy.

Moving forward, Tan has expressed that Momentus Hotels & Resorts will continue to adapt, grow and create unforgettable experiences for travellers. With plans to expand into six properties in the next three years, the brand will operate further afield with a focus on sustainability initiatives and the seamless incorporation of technology solutions.

By the end of this year, Momentus Hotels & Resorts hopes for a minimum 70% occupancy rate for the newly-launched Novena serviced apartment.
